Care for the Elderly

I feel so lucky to have lived in the Philippines. The cultural and traditional values we have learned from our ancestors are still in existence these days. Despite the foreign influences we may have adapted, closed family ties are still eminent to us. Even to our elderly, we would still care for them until their last breath. This is something that we are all proud of that no matter how far we may be to each other; we still find time to reunite to show our love from one another. But this is somehow different to other countries. Family members let other people care for their elders, maybe because of their hectic schedules on their own jobs. If you were born in the same race as mine and have lived most of your life in other land, perhaps, you are in total confusion as to whether you care for your elders or let others do that. If that’s the case then, you have to seek help with other people of the same interest. They talk about nursing home so you might as well enlightened with their advices.
